This is a handmade wooden keepsake box, for pencils, trinkets, jewelry, a gift, etc. It has a picture frame lid for a 4x6 picture. They make great gifts. The lid of the box doubles as a 4x6 picture frame (and includes a pane of glass to protect the photograph).

The sides and top are constructed of solid hardwoods and the bottom is a birch ply. The inside of the box is painted, and bottom of the box is left natural. The lid of the box hinges on wooden pegs, so there are no cheap-looking hinges to distract from the classic look and feel of the box.
