Toddlers depend on us for many things. However, when it comes to play, they're the experts.  Playtime is the perfect time to let your child take the lead. The Toddler Box can help by providing simple, child-led, play-based activities & ideas.

Your child will love reaching in and choosing a coin/activity from the box. When you assist them with the activity, and at the same time make it as child-led as possible; you are providing an opportunity to build their self-esteem and help grow their decision making skills. You are also providing an opportunity for them to listen, ask questions, and follow simple directions.

The difference between what a one year old can do and what a two year old can do is pretty big. Because of that difference, the activities and ideas can be easily adjusted, simplified or adapted for wherever your child is at developmentally.

Activities require little to no prep-work, use items you have around the house, and can be as long or as short as you want, depending on your child’s attention span or interest.

Here are just a few of the ideas & activities you will find in the box:
•Try on grown-up shoes, hats, clothes, etc.
•Give a doll or toy a ‘bath’
•Stack-up pillows or couch cushions
•Line-up stuffed animals. Play, talk and sit with them.
