I found this eastern bumble bee (Bombus impatiens) having the time of its life digging into the nectar on a pincushion flower (Scabiosa - a member of the honeysuckle family) and when the photo is enlarged you can see grains of pollen all over its body. I'm going to start using the phrase "happier than a bee covered in pollen" after watching this fuzzy friend!
